Empower Others Through Impact Journeys

The Avandra Foundation believes travel is more than a luxury—it’s a bridge to understanding, connection, and opportunity.  We create life-changing travel experiences for those who wouldn’t otherwise have the chance to explore the world.

Each Impact Journey is a 50/50 blend of Volunteering & Iconic Exploration. Participants who are selected for the program will receive support for the primary travel expenses for the trip (e.g., airfare, lodging & tours)

A Journey That Changes Lives

Through our program, participants earn their place on a transformational journey by completing 120+ hours of local work and qualifying based on financial criteria.

During this team, the cohort of participants will also meet 2-3 times to build an understanding of the country they will be visiting during their Impact Journey, as well as build relationships with the other participants.

Then, they embark on an adventure that shapes their future and leaves a lasting mark on the communities they visit. Mentors who will be experienced in volunteering and traveling abroad will also be on the Impact Journey to support the participants.

2026 Impact Journey Application

Applications for Avandra’s next Impact Journey will open in the summer of 2025. 

Our trip will occur during the Summer of 2026 and will have 10 openings for participants as well as 8 openings for mentors.
